What Happens When You Switch to Hotel Wi-Fi?
An international app may work over your travel eSIM and then stop loading after your phone connects to hotel, airport, café or public Wi-Fi.
This does not necessarily mean the eSIM has failed.
When Wi-Fi is active, your phone normally sends traffic through the Wi-Fi network instead of the travel eSIM. A mainland Wi-Fi connection can provide a different online environment from an internationally routed travel eSIM.
